Polished with #80 Speed Glaze, 1, as in one layer of NXT and the same phenomenom. You look where the sun is shining on the paint and you see spots in front of your eyes for a minute afterward.

At least after 1 wash, the Zaino will still retain its slickness and its ability to shine like that, thats more than I can say about NXT and 75% of the crap that is the out there right now and being hyped/praised like its a miracle to the world.



If the guy wants to put 75 layers on, how can any of you judge him for that? I don't judge people for putting some of the crap they put on their cars, do you judge someone for using different towels? No, only people who have a thing against Zaino feel the need to bash it and yes this is about Zaino, not about layering. If someone posted they put 75 coats of EX-P on their car, they would be hailed as a savior and a true life detailing hero.

You know Greg, I personally like you. I think you are an excellent detailer and a good guy, but comments like yours about NXT and "75% of the crap that is out there right now" is exactly what turns people off of Zaino. NXT is not crap, I wouldn't dare use it on customer's cars if one wash took away the shine and slickness.



If someone put 75 layers of EX-P on their car, I'd question their sanity too.
 
Since the claim is that NXT only lasts for one wash, what's the difference between putting on a coat of NXT every wash and a coat of Z every wash?

Maybe that will happen around the same time we start banning professional detailers that post tons of over exposed pictures to show how fantastic they are.

Pretty funny Brad. I'll be more than happy to send you the actual prints. Just like I sent to geekysteve who considered them good enough to use 7 of my pictures on the back of his Guru Reports wax test. All, by the way, topped with Meguiars #26. ;)

Hey, it is his elbow grease and his $ - he can do whatever he

To elevate this person's "dubious" (imho) action into an autopian thread is a bit much for me.



Let's face it, much of the autopian's "obsession" can be easily

ridiculed and slandered by 99% of the car-owning public.

Taking more than 2 hours to properly wash a car so you don't

get any marring - I think a lot people are laughing their heads

off right now.

Examining the paint with 1000 w halogen light after 5 hours of polishing - you are kidding me, right .

I personally do not do the things mentioned above. But the

results of the autopians who do leave me

I am not bashing Zaino in any way, shape or form, I just question why anyone would layer a product, any product, 75 times.

I question people who sit in front of the TV/monitors all day, who don't care about their car, I question people who don't exercise, or people who have way too much time on their hands, but I don't call them out on it and I'm sure you don't either, so why question someones pastime of applying Zaino layers or having 8000 posts, no difference to me, its all just time spent doing what you enjoy.

Scott, you know its coming.....

Opinions are like you know whats, everyones got one. Im upset about something i was accused of saying, which i didnt. I just wanted to know why so many coats necessary, for a product regarded to be so wonderful? Detailking mentioned its easy to be addicted to using after washing. Maybe the reason its needed is due to its overapplication ? Maybe this particular user is not familiar with proper application techniques, and is further micromarring the surface, in an actual effort to hide his errors?

Ive never used Zaino, and as mentioned earlier by another, im turned off by what its "Gods" have to say about it.

As for product distributors, what does that really have to do with this thread? Distributors are detailers too, and for your info, one who uses what they sell, are often more experienced with the product, than one who drives a Toyota and sells a Ford!

Yep; because in the big scheme of things it's irrelevant. It's evident for what it is, and needs no explaining or counter. The next time a superhuman is hired to be a moderator is the next time it won't happen.



There's no point to continuing it. And someone has to stop first.
