Cast my vote. Most used for me is my 3401 and old 9227C Makita. Use my Nano as well but not to the extent of the big guns.

They weren`t lyin` when they stamped "Heavy Duty" on the badge. This thing is 35 years old and can easily do another 35.

Rockwell, known as an aerospace company at the time, acquired Porter-Cable and manufactured the Rockwell-branded P-C power tools as well as their own additions. I dated a girl who worked there, so I outfitted my Dad with things like a drill press, sander, circular saw, router, as well as my buffer, all from the company store, long before we had big box or online tool outlets..
Eventually, they either sold off or spun off the P-C brand and the Rockwell name disappeared from the tool market.

I liked this post the most! Cool story, thanks for sharing. That machine looks HEAVY. Over the weekend I did see a Rockwell machine, looked like a modern polisher with "plastic" housing. I`ll try and get a pic, if I remember where I saw it.

I`m a newbie so I`ve only got the portercable. I figure with a Miata there is no need for a more serious machine. Just trying to learn everything at the moment.

I totally expected way more Rupes. BUT, add the two versions of the 15, and same for the 21, and the numbers go up some.

Higher? Looks pretty high to me if you look at it as a whole.

Total Rupes = 32
Total Flex = 25

And that isn`t counting the 23 from the "Total Other" where the Mini and Nano are. We can almost say 55 to 25.

Probably a lot that didn`t know you could write it. Like myself lol.

Anyhow... Of the four "mini" (under 3") polishers I have the Rupes Mini is the go-to. It is just a bumper slayer.
