NEW Product: CarPro Essence

Thanks for the info! The fact that it corrects while prepping the paint for a SiO2 coating makes me have to try it out.
Your Welcome!

I am anticipating mine coming in. I am gonna test it on my in-laws BMW under viking coat. I was gonna use all PA products, but with this coming I am hoping to eliminate my polishing step.
When will it be available?
It's on the CarPro site, I was lucky enough to order the "SEMA EDITITION " before it sold out.

I am not sure when the production version will ship. Autopia should get stock soon though.

Don't blame you especially with Connect and reward points. Not to mention great customer service.

This was actually my first detailing order not from PBMG. I just could not resist.

Also Corey is saying it can be used under any finishing LSP. Someone is supposedly looking to use this under their "High End" wax package, if all test well.

Caution was given to LSP's with high solvent content with allowing more cure time.

Congrats on the new product..

So, it adds fillers, and things, and then its still ok to lay down a Coating over it ?

What happens if the fillers and things this product leaves decide to come off ?

Hi guys! I actually was a Tester for this over the last year. The guys at Car Pro nailed it on this last last version that you see here. Essence produces the highest gloss finish I have ever seen. Anyone here who followed me at knows I'm a DIE HARD Black Fire finishing polish fan I use it day in and day out. I can produces some blinding results with it and cause some serious whip lash. That being Said the amount of time saved using this and it leaves a better finish Im sold! I know the time saving comes from the Filling ability which we normally think of as a bad thing. Not in this case as you can Coat right over the top of it with no wipe when using Cquartz products. In my testing at 24 hours after application I could not remove the SiO2 fillers with anything that a car would normally be exposed to. Including strong acids. I have several customer cars I used this on and put Cquartz Finest on top of and they are all holding up amazingly well. Most daily driven. I have confidence that the fillers are not going any where from what I;ve seen. As a stand alone I had it on a panel 6 months now still going strong and that actually a different version this one is stronger. I'd still recommend topping it with something because it is not very hydrophobic by its self so quick reload can fix that! Give me a couple days ill make application video and post of some of the results I've got with it. Thanks guys!

I also tested this stuff a little and used it as a stand alone LSP on this S55. I had corrected the paint fully before using Essence and it still gave a very noticeable bump in gloss and was very easy to use.

I also used it on this M3 last weekend as the final finishing step and it looks amazing. I'll have some SLR pics of this one later this week. :)

I love the idea of a "coating safe" filler adding more gloss to the paint. Microscopically there are always going to be pits and valleys, so filling them in in theory will make the paint flatter and glossier. Very innovative! Can't wait to get my hands on a bottle.

I got my notice today that mine was shipped today. I am looking forward to trying Essence out as a stand alone AOI and also under a coating. This could be the biggest thing coming out of SEMA this year.

CarPro states that Essence has only a 1 year shelf life, so buying one smaller bottle at a time may be a smart idea. At least until we get a good idea of what this stuff really does.

After comments on sizes wanted it was just updated. The "chemist" said if indoors, cool climate, and out of direct sunlight it will last 2 years.

Makes me wonder.......

Mine comes in Thursday, New Megs MF pads tomorrow, hopefully some testing this weekend. So I doubt I have to worry about it lasting anywhere near a year.

Sooo excited to test this out this weekend

22ple is by far a better product, MUCH easier to apply and harder...use both, feel both applicators in 5 days.

Ive tried a few of the coatings but NOT the 22ple. Do you still use microfiber-suede to install and remove? I'm hesitant to leave the Cquartz due to the awesome durability I get from it, also the shine/gloss.... I hate when this happens, lol, all these coatings to try!!
