NEW Product: CarPro Essence

I'm looking forward to giving it a go.

Care to elaborate, or are you just going to say negative things without any explanation?

Actually, that was my plan, but if you must know...its difficult to apply, it streaks, it spots, looses its beading ability and reload made it all even worse. 22ple was much better for me.

I need it NOW, Seriously I have a week off coming up an plan on doing my car with two coats of CQ UK. I NEED THIS ASAP, I won't have time to wait for this to come out!

Not for anything but CQ UK is awesome, I will say it's most definitely not a beginner product. I get incredible results but I've done tons with it.

I've done 4 or 5 cars with it and I could do three cars with 22ple over using CQUK, I have no issues getting the car coated, its the time it takes, the streaks, and the way it easily spots...makes it a no go for me anymore.

Thank you for actually saying your reasons. I have been testing CQUK vs. Gloss Coat vs. another coating(not 22PLE) for about 6 months now on the same car and Gloss Coat was the first to show diminished properties even though it was the easiest to apply. The water and dirt shedding of CQUK is completely above and beyond the other two so far. All that matters is that you like what you like and you have the experience and reasoning to back it up!

Also, Reload is optional so I'm not sure that's a valid critique of a separate product, though I have had my difficulties with that one as I know so many others have.

I had the same issues initially with CQUK and reload, BUT! After learning how to apply it properly WITH the proper microfiber suede towels and applicator I've had nothing but awesome results! Not knowing how to properly apply it doesn't make it "Suck" lol!

I ordered one last night, but I don't think they have any in stock. The message didn't exactly say it was back ordered but there was something to that effect. They are only selling their SEMA 5oz samples.

Yeah its the "SEMA Editition" hopefully it comes soon. I need to do the in-laws 07 X3 and would like to place this in for PA polish. Then top with Viking Coat.

I will test on the hood of my truck before using.

Also before compounding th X3 it'll look for the most troubled spot to apply it, If it performs as good as it sounds I might not need the compound.

22ple is by far a better product, MUCH easier to apply and harder...use both, feel both applicators in 5 days.

looks like carpro had it on the site briefly for 5oz "sema edition", hopefully someone on forum here got one and can review it!

I used it at SEMA and its not going to do a ton of filling it only fills very minor swirling. The claim of "unexpected cutting power" may be a little much. Modesta has been doing this for years with their primer. As long as the coating stays intact then the fillers will always be there.

I'm sure it will be a good product, but that is a lot of money for an AIO.
Not considering the projected longevity, most AIO's don't have that. It also cuts the polishing step almost out after compounding. Only do a single section pass instead of 4-8 depending on polished used. Plus no Panel wipe needed to apply your SiO2 coating afterwards. Also seems like you are getting "2" coats of a coating in less time since you are in "Essence" (see what I did there ) laying one down during your typical polishing step.

I was told the 5oz will do 2-4 cars and shelf life around a year.

I find it to be a sound investment. Less to buy/use to prep paint, as well as the time savings. We all know time is money!

Thanks for the info! The fact that it corrects while prepping the paint for a SiO2 coating makes me have to try it out.
