ZAIO vs HD Speed + Poxy

Dan- I'm always interested in how the ZAIO works for you! It was OK (untopped) on the older Crown Vic, but not OK enough for me to resist topping it (with FK1000P of course ;) ) the last time I did the car.

Interesting! Nice and inexpensive too...I'd always thought the gpm oughta be up around 2.0 or better, but you're doing OK with that unit, huh?

I also wanted to see if there was any point in topping Speed with Poxy. The test showed that applying Poxy over speed had little to no impact on durability. Speed is an excellent product, but if you are looking for good durability, you will need to follow up with something else.

Thanks Dan. This makes sesne to me, I've always thought "It's an AIO," cleaner and LSP in one but everyone tops off making it a real 2 stepper.



But hey, each scenario is different for each car and circumstance and this isn't an absolute for all. Thank you for doing & sharing this test Dan.

It really has been a standout for me. I can't say its head and shoulders above all for paint protection, but I haven't noticed and "issue" either. What is does do absolutely better than any other product (well maybe short of Opticoat) is keep my paint looking its best with the absolute least amount of work. Clay twice a year and follow with ZAIO and you are done. Your car will look great for years.

The 610 seems like a crippled device. It works for me (so far) as I need a durable powerwasher. I really don't need the flow, I'd be perfectly happy with my Husky (or any other cheap that had a soap tank) as long as it lasted. I hated the idea of returning them every two years. I was using them maybe 20 times a year. I hope the AR survives that for at least 10 years otherwise it will be a waste of money.

Yep, I'm with you, I don't see a need to do two steps if the AIO is right. I'd rather use something like HD Polish or P085RD and top with a good wax instead of AIO and then top.

It doesn't have the PSI of a consumer washer or the flow of a commercial. Also it keeps running, no pressure based on/off switch.
