I have done a back-to-back WG / Zaino on my wife's pure black Lexus LS400.
She loved the WG but she was blown away by the Zaino. These are her words, "It looks like a deep black mirror". I had never tried the Zaino on the Lexus for some unknown reason but we have a road trip in 2 weeks and nothing performs like Zaino, from my experience, in terms of easy maintenence and bug adhersion resistances. I prepped with claying, Menzerna IP, AIO and added 2 coats of Z5/ZFX and 2 coats Z2/ZFX over 3 days. I must admit it does look stunning.
As I have mentioned before, Zaino can look quite deep if one develops the depth via prep (polishing) and the original paint has a natural deep quality to it. The good part is that I will stay with the Zaino on this daily driver with no topper because of the ease of maintaining with just Z6 or QS and Z7 or Perls washes. I actually forgot how good a properly Zaino'd vehicle could look. Could it be the AIO that is the missing link for depth and lack of that clearcoat emphasizing tendency (plasticity)?:nixweiss
I still have the WG on the garage queen Z28 convertible and my daily driver silver metallic Escort wagon which are both topped with EX-P which produces a fantastic "POP". This combo works very well with these domestic paint jobs. Durability on the 24/7 exposed silver metallic has been almost 2 months with WG alone (still was beading and feeling great) and 1 month with the EX-P topper. :xyxthumbs
