Hi Grinder,
I've had success mixing one ounce of Dawn with 11 oz. of water in a spray bottle for a lubricant for the Z18 clay; and also one oz. of Z7 Wash and 11 oz. of water in a spray bottle for a lubricant for the Z18 Clay. I felt the Z6 is a little expensive to use a lube, if the other Z7 or Dawn would do the job.
With ZFX you can apply Z down into the 40's — I've applied at 43 degrees without any problem. Without ZFX, cold temperatures become a problem for applying Z.
There has been a lot of historic discussion about using medical syringes as applicators to apply Z. If you do a Search using "syringe" as the keyword, you will find very extensive Zaino threads.
Welcome aboard!
