Zaino CS now available

I'll start with wash, FK 1119, foam gun wash, Foam gun Spray and gloss. rinse steady flow, Dry, then Men. PO85RD or Optimum, then RMG maybe x 2, Then Pin. Finishing Glaze. Then the PS goes on. I want to start for fresh so.... The polycharger is due to ship the 12th. So Over the weekend I cand do the prep work and be ready when POLY comes in.

I'm still having a hard time believing that CS is a 9-month protectant, by itself. Even on the Zaino site, it says for *maximum protection* to apply CS 3-4 times per year. To me, that implies that every 3 months, it needs to be renewed to its maximum state due to it falling off. I guess I'm just gonna sit on the sidelines and wait for more testing. Not saying I doubt Zaino claims, but something just doesn't seem right to me. :nixweiss :think:

All LSP have a maximal protective period and as time and exposure to assault increases the sacrificial nature (protection) of a LSP decreases. What this statement is quoting is that "maximal" protection is about 3-4 months but incrementally decreasing to a point about 9 months where in most cases protection is probably gone.
Which means you can top off your protection during those 9 months or run the tank empty. In either case you have traveled the initial full tank maximal distance but by re-filling along the way you added same additional mileage availability in case of a detour(a life circumstances which doesn't allow detailing time) occurs.
Of course an alternative would just to Z8 after every other wash and maintain maximal protection and appearance for the whole 9 months and forego the CS every 3-4 months.

I agree with Edwin, you don't want to let LSPs go all the way until they are dead. I am getting 7-8 months out of Acrylic Jett but I recommend to my customers that I reapply it every 4 months to maintain the maximum amount of protection and appearance.
It would be the same with CS then. Let's say the 9 month durability is right on. Maximum protection at application. 4 months down the road, you still have 5 months durability, but maybe 60% of the protection a fresh coat has. Adding another application gets you back to 100% protection, plus the durability clock is back to 9 months again.

Where do you think Polycharger will fit in with CS? I'm afraid I am a sucker for anything new, so I bought some H2O Polycharger for my Z6 which I assume can be apllied at any time and followed by a coat of CS or applied on top of the CS to give it even more durability. Am I way off in my thinking?

Western Kansas is still, well, dusty
Lots of cows, lots of dust, lots of tumbleweeds, and the farm trucks leave their dirty, clumpy, dusty, rocky treasures all over everywhere. Other than that, it's still flat!
