Zaino CS now available

Hard to say what you can and can't do without using it first.

I have gotten 8 applications from 1 oz. Very little absorbs into the applicator.

So how much product does the mister bottle output with one pump? This way, I can test how many pumps it will take to do my car. Also, does CS haze up right away? If it doesn't how will I know I have gone over that area and not waste more product that I should?

good post

my second question would be maintenance. Say you do prefer a carnauba top coat, and apply CS over the top for extra protection/gloss, how do u maintain the finish now. Do you just layer your carnauba over the top say in 4 washes time, or do u use CS again. Or would you have to do the Z-AIO+carnauba+CS everytime

Good question.

I would say it depends on your mood. You could just apply another coat of your favorite LSP, if the desired appearance is still present and you want a little bump in the "POP" you could use your favorite QD or if you want that added "POP" and augment protection, you can apply another coat of CS.

Not need to start over unless the finish requires surface repair.

Another option is have CS as the base for less enduring LSP. This gives you the look you desire and still have a great looking vehicle until you have time or desire to re-apply when the LSP of your choice wears off.

No haze formation. You will see a prizmatic effect as you apply CS. It is quite easy to distinquish where the product has been applied.

:up

Here is a cropped pic of ZCS but I "blotted" it onto the paint and did not work it in.

zcscloseuprs8.jpg

The reason why I "blotted" it on thick was to see how long it would take to disappear into the paint. From my notes it was 66°f and the RH was 60% that day. I checked the area 15 mins later and the ZCS was gone.

I bet it would look good over OPS+Nattys blue then the CS. Maybe a waste of time, I dont know. But like Bioman said how much comes out in one spritz? Is it a lot, do you have to give it half a pump to do the whole car in 1/4 oz? At 30 bucks I can charge more, I'm liking this.

Would someone be nice enough to buy me a a bottle of Z-CS and Z-AIO and ship it to me? I was told that it will be 6 to 8 weeks (shipping issues=slow boat) through normal channels before I can try out the Z-CS and Z-AIO. :(

I would really appreciate it. Please PM me if you are able to.

Thank you & Aloha,

Ranney :)

I feel your pain Ranney, looking at a similar situation here in the UK.

At least you guys won't have to pay a silly premium however.

Z8 in the UK is £23.95 which with the latest exchange rate comes to around $46.50

Goodness knows what they are going to have us pay for Z-CS and Z-AIO. :(

Wheeeeeeee! I just ordered the three-pack. I love this suggestion on the Zaino website:

And for the most extreme enthusiast...

While not required, for the ULTIMATE in paint protection and an INCREDIBLE show car finish, use Z-AIO, followed by 2 coats of ZFX enabled Z-5 PRO, then 1 coat of Z-2 PRO (including a Z-6 wipe down between coats) and finish off with an application of Z-CS. Wait 12 hours, then wipe down the vehicle with Z-8. Get your sunglasses out, the gloss may be blinding.

Questions for the testers ... what type of pad to use with Z-AIO on a PC? Does AIO remove minor swirls if you use a somewhat aggressive pad? In other words, can you skip ZPC if the paint correction is minimal and go straight to AIO?

Pad selection will alter the aggressiveness of ZAIO. The problem with using too aggressive a pad will still lead to a 2-step process because of the marring that some cutting pads create. ZAIO, unlike Z-PC, is not a variable polish (reducing abrasives).

I have only tested ZAIO for a short time but used ZAIO like I would something like Menzerna FP, KAIO or OP. A finishing pad. I believe a polishing pad should work well for very minor surface imperfections.

Hope this helps.:xyxthumbs

The beta samples CS has an non-toxic, almost perfume-like (nothing close to the "pimp" after shave fragrance of the initial Blackfire QD) and non propagating industrial smell that quickly dissipated. No idea if the consumer product will have a fragrance. Well, not until my order arrives next week.

Can't remember what the beta sample ZAIO fragrance was. When I get home this evening, I'll check.

I'm glad someone mentioned smell. My wife has hand creams that drive me from the room. I don't even recall an odor with Jeffs but I can't use some Pink clearcoat conditioner I have because its smell is too stong. Some of us appreciate the 'less is more' school of fragrance.

I can tell ya tonight around 6 when the big brown truck shows up with my CS and AIO.... and Z2Pro and Z8.

I'm going to be using the Zaino lineup on my C6 exclusively. I'm going to use up allll my other products, one way or another, on the C5.

I really wish Sal would offer Z6 in discounted gallon form... and while he's at it, change the fragrance so I don't think I'll applying cough syrup to my car. :D

Your crazy, the dimetapp smell is the best! Make sure to read up on the application on the website and follow it to a T. 1 spritz per panel!

Apparently Zaino's warehouse is in Lenexa, KS which is just across the state from me... an 8 hour drive. I always get my Zaino packages the very next day if I get my order in by 3:00 the previous day.

The Dimetapp smell brings back terrible memories of being chased around the house by my caring and loving mother with a spoonful of cough syrup.

I'm going to ZAIO, Z2Pro x 2 48 hours apart, then CS once for the heck of it, then save the rest of the CS for the hot summer months, or before a road trip. I'll be using Z8 after every wash and Z6 for dust duty. Can't wait, I've been wanting this for a long time from Sal and he delivered. :getdown

Aloha all...

Thank you to all who had sent me a PM offering to purchase or giving me a sample of Z-AIO and Z-CS. You guys truly have the "Aloha Spirit". I have contacted the individual to purchase the Z-AIO and Z-CS.

Thank you & Aloha,

Ranney :woohoo:

You mean it's not in a secret underground complex beneath the Howell, NJ office? Dang...I guess I can stop scouring the Google Earth satellite shots for the hidden entrance and pestering ex-East German intelligence officers for the plans...(we here in NJ can't order from the Zaino website). :lol
