Yuck - look what's just turned up for a detail...

That interior looks great. Body was starting to shape up, too bad you couldn't finish. I hate not finishing a job I hate being rushed too. I want to get it done right with no rush so I know nothing was missed.

Shame. It was starting to look good. Good ol' Merc interiors do come back with a bit of work, I've seen a few in a bad way myself. What did you use on the interior?

I can totally sympathize with you when people take the car away before its finished. It is very frustrating. Working directly for a pre-owned car sales centre I find it worse still when someone turns up to test drive the car when its 95% completed. Guranteed to return it absolutely filthy.

I can't believe the guy who bought the car didn't want you to finish. Clearly he will just beat up the car again and it will end up looking like garbage again in no time. There really was a lot left to fix on this car anyway. I mean look at it! The steering wheel was on the wrong side!! :grinno:

Is Preptone the same as MEK (Methyl Ethlyl Ketone)?

Not sure - I'll have a look on the tin and see what I can learn from that. It certainly smells like it's got the "ethyl" part in it though!
