I have and use both OCW and AW, and in general I agree with this statement. But, it also depends on the look that you want. OCW looks great on Silver, but gives a deeper look, while the AW gives a slightly more sterile wet look (similar to Zaino).
Pinnacle Souveran Spray Wax is very good, in terms of protection, gloss, and ease of use. At $25, it lives up to its expectations.
Used Meguiar's UQW. It's terrible, and I sincerely believe that only people with little or no expectations from any spray waxes would find it satisfactory. No hard feelings to anyone who likes it.
AW: ease of use, lasts pretty long. I also like that it doesn't "editorialize" or change the look of my Klasse'd car too much. AW is an overachiever.
Eagle One Nanowax Spray: carnauba look, very easy to use, has swirl hiding ability, not too durable though but who cares.
I use AW when it hasn't been too long since my car had a full detail and is relatively swirl-free. As the swirls begin to accumulate, EONS begins to get more use because of its swirl-hiding abilities.
OCW is an excellent product no doubt but to be honest its not the one I reach for first after washing a vehicle, why I`m not sure but I only seem to use OCW after some thought.:nervous:
