i find myself reaching for the hyrotech pads and the da microfibers for the pc, the black and green lcs polishing pads with the rotary... my wife and daughter prefer always
Funny!
Sorry I dont get my pads here to comment.
DC, This is the point of my thread. As far as I know the pads I like aren't sold elsewhere. So I am asking for fave pads that you get at other places so I can try them.
Do tell......I think as long as you don't give a link you can tell me you get pad xyz from shop abc.
Thanks
Im sorry Biolink but the place I get my pads wont even disclose the brand they are and its a detail supply store in SanDiego. Sorry I cant help you. I have heard good things about buff and shine pads though but have not tried them.
Hey guys (and DC),
Give me your thoughts on your favorite foam pads for DA and rotary. And where do you get them?
I liked the classic flat pads form PAC but now I can't get them. Boo Hoo
:toetap05:
Sure Biolink.Sounds like an excuse to drive to San Diego. Can you send me a PM with the name of the store? Maybe I can have them ship me a few.
sorry for the noob questions, but what are the problems you have with the pads?I still try to get the Lake Country Hydro-Shred pads to work for me; the Cyan, Tangerine and Crimson. I buy them at Detailed Image out of New York.
Have also used all the colors of the Lake Country Flat Pads, all purchased from PAC over the years.. They work ok, certainly last way longer than the first ones mentioned above...
Im going to run out of patience soon, and will probably go with the BuffnShine, and Phil's Uber pads at Detailers Domain, in New Jersey.
