We'll see how this work. If not, gonna buy the real deal.

Thanks for the head's-up on the ebay huck surgical towels. I just bought 2 dozen from this

auction:

I also found brand new huck towels available for sale from Erie Cotton Products:

A 50-pack for approx. $30 seems like a pretty decent deal to me.

try following your glass cleaner w/ some Poorboy's exp. It will clear up the streaking and I've used just about every mf towel to remove it w/ good results. :cooleek:

try No Streek glass cleaner :up :up , never ever leaves streaks, been using it for 10 years and have never seen a streak. I use mf and cleaning windows is a breeze and never had anybody complain about the windows. why use a product that streaks ?

Winner's circle also sells that type of towel.

Not quite the 12/$9.99, but in bulk, with discount, it's close.

I have those, and to say they are impressive is an undersatement. They are freaking awesome! They are in fact another example of deceptive appearance. When I got them I thought "I can't believe I spent money in these rags...." Well, forget appearance, try them.... WOW!! Easy cleanup, no streaks, NO LINT!

Now I am kicking myself for not buying more...... I think that in fact the towel is the most important factor. I had been using some "zwipes" suede-like cloth that look and feel nice, but left horrible lint. No matter what product I used with the zwipes, they always left lint and never cleaned perfectly.

With the WCD towels, ANY glass cleaner will make short work of the task. In fact, the towels level the field, and the best overall products (NXT and E1 20/20) even lose appeal. If the dirt is tough, mothers glass cleaner, then a final wipedown with stoners invisible glass to help the beading..... In the inside, any cleaner.

I use Excel Details 16x16 Pacific Blue WW followed by a final wipe with his Aquaclear Optical(velvet like). This combo has yielded the best results for me.

I hate and I mean HATE cleaning the interior side of windshields and rear glass. I used to get streaks all the time. I tried cotton towels, window towels, paper towels, newspaper, whatever. I tried different cleaners glass plus, windex, ClearVue, IG, etc. I always got streaks. Then I got some Sprayway glass cleaner and have had no issues with streaking since. :woot: I use it with some cheap-o green glass towels that I bought at Pep Boys. I think they're cotton. I still hate cleaning windows though.

I like the Poorboy's Work Towels for glass. There are also some green Microtex glass towels in WalMart that aren't bad, but they curl up a little after washing.

When you dry the towels, if you stop the dryer when the towels are still a bit damp, they'll tend not to curl up as much.

I use green WCD MFs for cleaning glass, but I think there are probably better towels for this. I bought a pair of the blue non-lint huck towels from WCD too, but I was dissapointed to see that they are exactly the same as the 2 dozen surgical rags I got from my friend's wife (registered nurse). They didn't work very well either. I use them for degreasing engines now.
