I appreciate what you presented, and it is important.

However, at 69 (which is 15 years longer than I ever planned to live) and have survived three ex-wives and two long term relationships with some fine ladies, was painting with lead based spray paints in the 50's and 60's, I am feeling just fine and if I didn't smoke a pack a day or drink a quart or two a week, life would not be any worthwhile to continue on.

I am one of the "lucky" ones.

That's about all I can say, other than if you are smoking, stop, if you haven't smoked, don't start, spend the money saved on old cars that you can work on and such every day, it's a blast if you aren't cheap about doing things.

I quit smoking after 35 years this past May. I had never really even tried before up until that point. I finally came to the conclusion that if the good Lord had wanted me to smoke, he would've put a smokestack upside my head :peep:

I'm a cigar guy; we're talking one a month tops, slightly more around the holidays. I also age higher end ones for years. Mr. Fuente and Mr. Padron would surely be friendly to me.

It's always a pleasurable hour plus when I enjoy a cigar. If I'm not satisfied with the taste of the cigar alone, I pair it with port, cognac ( Remy Martin is my first choice) or even a soft drink.

I get Cigar Aficionado and I'm enamored by the lifestyle and all that stuff it projects. Just a few pleasantries in life every now and then. I have never been in a worse mood after smoking a cigar than before.
