I appreciate what you presented, and it is important.
However, at 69 (which is 15 years longer than I ever planned to live) and have survived three ex-wives and two long term relationships with some fine ladies, was painting with lead based spray paints in the 50's and 60's, I am feeling just fine and if I didn't smoke a pack a day or drink a quart or two a week, life would not be any worthwhile to continue on.
I am one of the "lucky" ones.
That's about all I can say, other than if you are smoking, stop, if you haven't smoked, don't start, spend the money saved on old cars that you can work on and such every day, it's a blast if you aren't cheap about doing things.
