Who makes Zaino?

Well, don't assume. I'm telling you that I have seen pictures taken by someone who visited Sal and was able to take pictures of where the products were manufactured. If my word isn't good enough then I'm certianly not going through the effort to find a thread and prove it to you.

Look at it this way... they are made somewhere. For all I know he could have taken a picture in the Duragloss plant and nobody would have known the difference. Someone close enough to Sal to be shown this has posted pictures on another site and that is good enough for me. I don't need to see a factory with a big ZAINO sign on top to believe that the products are made somewhere. Besides, the only other way they could be made is if Terry uses the elves in the black forrest that make his Blackfire products. :lol:

Let me ask you this... Have you seen the factory that Wolfgang is made at? How about Souveran? How about P21S? How about NXT? I haven't seen any of them, but that doesn't mean that I assume they are all made by Turtle Wax or something.

Of course they are manufactured some where. I mean the products exist don't they? They didn't appear out of thin air. The simple question is does Zaino make it themselves or is it relabeled from another manufacturer. I know it isn't safe to assume anything that is why I am asking to confirm or not.
 
I'll say it again, just because a company doesn't have a manufacturing facility, doesn't mean that it is the same as any other product. It means that they have hired someone to do the work for them.

What I find very interesting about this thread is that there isn't one Zaino Zealot/cult member jumping all over this thread. They are very conspicuous by their absence. Usually they are ready for war if you say anything other than Zaino is the greatest. Maybe in this case they have no ammo.
 
No, it is because we don't have any zealots on Detail City. Level headed and objective is our middle name. Post this over on Autopia or detailers club and watch what happens. It would be like throwing meat into a lion's den.
 
I have used Zaino and to tell ya the truth I wasn't that happy with the look it gave my car. My car looked very fake glossy not the deep wet look that I get now with NB and as far as durabilty im not to conserned because my car gets waxed almost every week and full detail every 3 months so I don't care if Zaino lasts 6 months or longer it just did nothing for me

If you are happy with a product does it really matter who manufactured it? Im sure most of the waxes out there are made by the same factory just the formula is different for each brand name. I myself could care less if I like a sealant or wax Im going to use it no matter who's label is on it.

Yes you are correct on that point. I'm not looking for a war any way. Just curious about it that's all.

I really don't think that anyone here will be able to give you the answer you are looking for....From what I have seen here at DC we are not pro-zaino....and for the most part could careless if it was manufactured on the moon.

I'd say call Sal and ask

Sal has talked to many people stating he makes his own products. Jngrbrdman stated he's seen a picture of the facility. What else do you want?

Have I been to the Duragloss factory? No, but if I wanted to I could pay a visit to Burlington, North Carolina and do so. Can you give me the address for the Ziano factory so I could go visit it?

Do you really think if Sal had his products made by somebody else he would admit it? Jngrbrman said he seen pics of a facility that apparently makes Zaino. That could be Duragloss for all we know. The products are obviously made some where thats no big discovery. The question is who makes them.

There are plenty of Detail City members that use and like Zaino. To be more accurate, the majority of Detail City members are not biased towards just one product. Many products are used by and discussed by Detail City members and I would have to say that the community in general is pro-Zaino. No reason to blackball a product line just because some of the users have a reputation for being zealots.
 
To my knowledge, they are made in Howell, NJ where Zaino is headquartered.

Seems to me like no matter what evidence is offered, you won't believe it.
 
How about we find us a non-biased Detail City member that lives within 50-100 miles to take a road trip and get us some pics of the building and then go knock on the door and ask Sal if we can see where he makes the stuff?

Then we can move on to something else.

Great if thats true. It only took 56 posts to get even a hint of a confirmation that there is a Zaino Manufacturing facility.

What I find strange is why you don't here about this. Zaino has extremely hard core fans you think it would be talked about more or people would visit or Sal would have tours of it.
