Born 08/01/49 back when they invented dirt. Be 66 my next birthday. Retired from driving a tractor trailer 3 years ago. Started detailing back about 2005. Things in this industry have really changed during that time .
I think I can make it another 4-5 yrs.

I was born 12/09/1953... age is just a number and an attitude.

I detail part time, I am a career firefighter. I am retiring in January 2015 after serving 33 years on the FD. I will be able to dedicate more time to my detailing venture.
 
I am 48 years old. I cleaned and waxed cars through high school and college for extra money. Worked summers as a new car prep guy at local dodge dealer. I used to say I detailed cars but in 2008 I purchased my first new, black car and bam I knew I had to up my game or sell that thing. Attended a poorboys detail weekend got hooked and soon after met you fine people.
 
Right swanic...Im 42 also and was thinking I would probably be near the top, NOPE. Wow, glad to see I may have a few more years in me.
