Sorry for all the pics, but i like my truck LOL!

This was in Aug of 06 right after i bought it and it has since gone through some changes both visually and performance wise. This was my first full 8 hr long detail, and looking back i could have done a lot of things differently to really make it look a lot better. Anyway, enjoy!!

Cummins, welcome aboard! How 'bout a diesel car (or two)? This is the closest I could find to a corn field:

BTW, if you search on forum brother "lightman", you'll see a whole passel of shots of his '04 rig. Lots of mods ;)

f-350 6.0 Turbo here.... Worst truck every made!

Seriously. My family uses it for towing our airstreams around. 200,000 miles, very well maintained, along with at least 25k in repairs. The injectors go bad if you look at them, and I had a turbo go out at 70k. We are thinking about a dodge next. I drove a buddies being a 3/4 compared to my 1ton and it was just about as good hauling, with a much more quiet and soft ride. In a smallish Texas town the modded truck thing gets real old. Can't go a block without someone forgetting their truck is not, in fact, a bugatti veyron. Were ready for something nice and quiet. :D

Yesterday I saw a truck for sale parked in a yard. On the front windshield was written:

"7.4L Diesel!"

...I think if I was the seller that would be my biggest secret...:)

Actually the 7.3 (there was no 7.4) was the best diesel ford made. We have 2 work trucks for my fathers company still running fine with 350, and 400,000 miles. Great engines. Lucky for me, I got the super turd (otherwise known as the 6.0) I bought it in 04, the year they canceled the 7.3. :bawling:

im reviving a really old thread.....but heres some new updated pics of my truck (has changed a bit since first pics i posted in the thread)

^ OK??? Instead it looks like you're stuck with a puny little Liberty, instead:bawling:

haha, wow dude, where did that come from. If youre actually from 'japan' I would say my liberty is bigger than most cars they make there.

Bet you didnt even know they put a 2.8 diesel in the libertys did you?

cumminscrazed you have a very nice truck. It is so cool to see a diesel truck that is really clean.

Ah yes, Diesel trucks, great topic. I had a 1986 ford f350 with the international harvester diesel. No turbo, but that was one hell of an engine. 280k when i sold it and it was still pulling like a champ. I upgraded in 2003 to a Chevy Duramax. Best thing about this truck, hands down in the Allison transmission. Gm made a wise choice. It has been a great truck and i have added the edge tuner with some other mods and i am getting on average 20mpg and an *** load of power to boot.

I drive a 2003 ford for work occasionally i am not sure if it has the 7.3 or the 6.0 engine, but i am not as impressed it the powerstroke as i am with the duramax or the cummins. They all are really beefy trucks though.
