What would be considered the minimum temp to apply waxes and sealants? I work out of an uninsulated metal garage building with limited heating. There are many times during the winter that I cannot get the temperature above 40-45 degrees inside. I have used compounds and polishes in these conditions and they seem to work ok. I do however wonder if their effectiveness are reduced.
I do know that sealants require a cure time and am assuming that the cure time will increase in cold weather. I currently use a lot of Duragloss 105 sealant. It is mixed with 601PB which acts as an accelerate and should help curing in colder weather.
I would appreciate any feed back and experiences that you guys have. How does the cold affect Compounds, Polishes, Sealants and Waxes ?
