I'm not sure I can stand to wait, but how long between my last coat of SG and first coat of Blitz? Also, I found the SG hard to remove in spot, but I used a cotton cloth ever so lightly misted with water and it seemed to finally come off.

I believe that you are supposed to wait about 24hrs. I don't because I don't have that kind of time, so I don't wait at all. This may or may not affect the curing of the SG. I'm not quite sure.

It is recommended to wait 20 minutes. If it is warm and muggy you will want to wait alot longer.

Some people are saying a day's wait is going to give you the best results but I think it's a little overkill. I was waiting 30 minutes between layers and boy was I content.

Personally, I would wait until the next day for the Blitz wax, I heard the glaze will deepen in color the next day (forgot where I heard this, sorry). Then I would clean the paint from dust and so on and only then would I apply the wax.

I am sure a same day application, roughly an hour after the glaze is removed would be fine but thats what I personally would do.

Yeah, the 24 hour wait is probably best. However, many of us have tried some carnauba over the layers of Sealant Glaze within the day and have had great results. If you can wait, then do so. Laters.

I figured everyone's FAVORITE step would be polishing!:Dancing Dot:

So what's your LEAST favorite step?

(I guess I should have made a poll option for "All of the Above!") LOL!:)

Interiors in general suck, too many variables to account for.

But inside glass takes the cake, front and rear:Swordfight::doh:

Im thinking about not cleaning front and rear inside glass, tell my customers up front I dont do that service and charge less overall.

I'm kinda surprised... 2 immediate votes for interior glass. I don't mind interior glass at all, but I DESPISE carpet cleaning!!!!

I know that some vehicles (Late model Camaro, Mustang, Corvette) the windshield glass is a very steep angle, but it's usually the first thing I do to get if out of the way!)

Interior glass.

Just when you thinks you have it perfect, you pull it out of the garage into the sunlight and see streaks...:banghead:

The thing I hate most is probably door jambs, it takes me a good 45 minutes to an hour to do if they are dirty, they still take me at least a half an hour on well maintained vehicles.

I don't like windshields or rear windows either, other than that I don't really mind interior glass.

Leather cleaning can be extremely redundant if it is heavily soiled. Nothing is more annoying than scrubbing leather 3+ times just so that it looks like it's original color again. :cursing: There are certain cars where I have spent over half an hour cleaning just the drivers seat!

Not to mention the Ferrari 360 model. Did one of those last week... big windshield, very steep angle and no room between the bottom of it and the dash that was covered in Alcantara.
I covered the dash with towels, so as not to get any cleaning products on the sensitive material and getting down to the bottom of the windshield almost did my back in for good:(

This PITA factor was doubled when I realized the interior glass was covered in some sort of sticky material that was very hard to remove, streaky etc. Went over the glass 3 times to finally get it clean.
The owner had no idea who cleaned the glass before me, or what was used.

The rest of the car was really fun to do, that glass wasn't though!

I agree with many, that doing the interior glass is a major PITA. But, I have tyo say that my least favorite thing to do is the interior in general. So many nooks and cranies:doh:

I like the end result of claying a car but it can be a real pain claying a vechile for two or three hours. Uses up a lot of clay lube and usually trashes the clay bar, and we all know clay isnt all that cheap.

I dont mind doing interiors, carpets, floormats, and door jambs take a while but I kinda like doing them.

just regsitered here

Hello guys,
Wondering whats up?

Nothing to say right now :D
