bang for your buck?

KleanFreak

I need more sugar!!!!!!
what would you all say is the best company that offers you a real bang for your buck without lacking quality?

prefebly gallons of machine applied products?

giving meguiars my business now.....:)

I use p&s products and im very happy with them . i went to the headquarters this week for some training and it was great . i was misusing some products and added a few new ones to the lineup. i am very openminded to trying some different products like poorboys and some of the others you guys are always talking about . I talked to steve at poorboys last week and he was very helpful and seemed like a really great resourse for detailing info and im sure his products are top notch. any samples out there for me to try anyone?

I've always had great success with Auto Magic, BAF Industries / PRO Products, CarBrite and Mark V. Many of their distributors cary 3M and Meguires products on their trucks, as well as many other useful detailing items.

I might add that some will even mix and custom label many of the items they produce for those who wish to broaden their profits by marketing their existing clientele ;)

I've had success with the Adam's line...I've purchased quite a bit from them under my business. The products speak for themselves, and while they are a little more expensive, they are well worth it. Under the business, I am able to get them less expensive than what the stated prices are online.

please also remember that detailing businesses should NOT order on line as those are RETAIL prices to the general public....if you have a REAL detailing business(sorry no disrespect to hobbyists who make some spare $$$ in their spare time or weekends) and have a business checking account and tax id # you will always get more "bang for the buck"...but you have to call:phone

Before I starterd posting here I used allot of P&S products only because I have a local dist. I think that there 4 step smart wax system is a great product line. However there wax is a dust collector.
I have since swtiched over to PB products and think its of better quality for the money.

well poorboy what if someone is running a business but doesnt like uncle sam and doesnt have a tax id#?

If I may step in....

I'd say, "Thanks alot for letting us taxpayers pay for the nice paved streets that you drive on."

Sorry if that comment may offend but I am just a big fan of businesses and people that do like Uncle Sam, that do love America and do their part to make this country what it is.

Tax-free small businesses running "under the table" make the rest of us have to pay more that means I'm not getting as much "bang for my buck" as I should be.

I couldn't agree more you Dwayne... :bigups

Add up some of the hidden costs like licensing, on-site liability insurance, & taxes and those who make an honest living are cut out by those "I got a bucket and some wax, I'm a Detailer :beat " mentalities. It's amazing to me how often I've had to educate clients asking "Why John Doe can do it for X-amount less."

As the administrator of a growing auto detailing forum I will do my best to show support for legitimate licensed and insured businesses.

During my day job I see it everyday. "Detailers" come in to make purchases but "don't want a receipt" which means "I don't want to pay tax.".

I write a receipt, charge applicable sales tax and if they don't want their copy I am happy to show them my garbage can.

No one LIKES paying taxes but it is the cost of living in a great country like the United States. We all have to do it.
