What do you regularly use to polish paint with, a PC, Cyclo or Rotary polisher? I'm curious if this has changed over the years that I've

belonged to Autopia.

i bought the cyclo. and it works great but i find it very heavy. so i ordered a p/c and should get it buy next week. anyone interested in my cyclo???

I use both..I have an old black and decker buffer, the old fashioned metal one. It's probably 15 years old and still going strong. I rewired it like 10 times already!

I use my pc for finish work mainly and could not live without it.

Started with a PC and then moved to Rotary. Am a used dealer, most of my cars are very rough to begin with. Still use the PC on occasion.

I have a PC, Cyclo, DW849, and Metabo (LOL).

I use the Metabo most often on customer cars and the Cyclo/PC most often on my own.

I don't think i could ever use a PC to polish a badly swirled car. I need the rotary. PC is great for glazing and waxing.

PC here, although I wouldn't mind a Cyclo. I do details as a hobby, and on friends car, and for most part, the paint is usually in fair shape. Not too bad to work on.

Goose :)

I use the rotary only. The only time i would use the PC is for glazing or using cleansing/non abrasive products like AIO.

Love my Cyclo, but for the really horrendous vehicles, the Hitachi gets pulled out...

That's the way I do it; I reserve the rotary for the jobs where I really need it.

Oh, and :wavey RCBuddha, I was *just* wondering if you were still on here, thought about you yesterday.

Well there seems to be a lot more Rotary and Cyclo users now then there was almost 4 yrs ago when I joined. I think there will always be a place for the PC, especially with noobies.
