What are the opinions out there..........I know there are many, on the decision to wet sand vs. just compounding with a pad to get out 1500, 2000, 1200 kind of scratches?
They both get rid of, say a 1500 grit scratch by using either method?
My experience is that they take about the same amount of time, yet for some reason I feel I can see much easier (the progress) using a pad and compound. Is the margin of error higher using wet sanding?
Basicly what are your determing factors for the decision to either wet sand out scratches or compound them with a pad/compound.
Cheers,
GREG
