Wax for Las Vegas heat

DO you think I should use a cleaner to take off the EX-P first, or put the Zaino sealant over it? I have heard that the Zaino will adhere to almost any base.

A carnuba wax over Zaino you mean?



If so, I heard it's not a good idea. It blurs the color actually. Zaino alone will blow your mind on how good it will look.
 
If it's the Z-CS you're referring to, geez it's $30 for 6oz.



The Z-2 looks promising, but I want a sealant. Maybe the Z-2 with the EX-P over it?
 
I see that the Klasse AIO got great reviews, but with a 2 year old car with great paint, should I use a cleaner like that? Or is their cleaner not too aggresive?
 
Klasse AIO is a very mild cleaner that only cleans off oils and some mild oxidation, fine for your car.



Zaino AIO is similar, and I think lasts longer and easier to apply.
 
So in everyone's opinion, what is the absolute BEST sealant? In terms of durability. I know that the Klasse High Gloss Sealant Glaze is supposed to last 12 months, and the Wolfgang Deep Gloss Paint Sealant 3.0 is supposed to only be good for 4-6 months.



I need something that lasts a long time (12 months or so) and if I get the chance I can apply more often.



Living here in Las Vegas I need a durable sealant as a base, and then maybe put a wax over, but not with any hopes of it lasting like the sealant.

a lot of people here seem to swear by collinite 476 and klasse twins for durability. i think that duragloss 111 is an awesomley durable product.. 3m performance finish is durable too... i cant say i know of anything that lasts a year though..
 
You said Z2 looks promising but you want a sealant.... Z2 IS a sealant. "Sealant" usually just refers to a protective product that is synthetic/polymer-based, as opposed to a "wax". Z2 is a sealant. I believe FK1000P and Pink Wax are hybrids of sorts if I recall? A wax with some synthetic polymers added? Z2, 1000P, or a Collinite product should all work well.

While I have never used Klasse Sealant Glaze, I feel pretty sure you will not get 12 months out of it. Accumulator puts like a half dozen layers of Klasse Sealant Glaze on his minivan and I don't think he gets near that length of protection.
 
I vote for Collinite and Klasse Twins!!! Excellent especially with the salty, humid, hot air we have in Hawaii.



Blackfire Poycharged is another one you should look at!!!!
