Im looking for a better way top measure than using the cap
what are you guys using?
I'll spare everybody my usual comments on GC, but I do want to point out that IMO the recommended dilution is merely a starting point. Lots of variables can affect what'll work best for *you*.
The variables can be:
1) Hard water (IE, mineral content) of your water source. Harder water needs more soap to "suds" properly.
2) Dirtiness of the vehicle you are cleaning. A little more soap for lubricity may be required.
3) A larger vehicle (like a van or extended cab truck) will require more water and, hence, more soap. (OK Capitan Obvious!)
4) Some Autopians "mix" soaps or All-Purpose Cleaners together for vehicle washing, depending on the contaminants to be removed, like bugs or tar , which may require less Gold Class soap. (Please DO NOT tell anyone I have used Dawn Dish Soap with Gold Class in an emergency when I ran out of sufficient Gold Class, and yes, they work well, despite what some may think)
