I have been experimenting on the weekends with my new PC and some poorboys polishes on the hood of my 4runner. I plan to do about 3 cars in the next month or so.
To my question: I noticed that polishing makes a huge mess with all the dried up polish dust all over the car, not to mention any slips onto black plastic parts. Would it be correct to wash the car after polish to reomve all of the dusting before my LSP?
I would guess no because lack of protection on the paint, it may swirl during the wash.
I bought some blue tape, but that was a pain the butt as well, when I took it off, there were lines from I guess where the polish built up and dried.
Any tips or tricks to keep dusting down to a minimum or how to easily remove the dust?
Thanks,
Steve
