Ok, before any flames, i did a search for Vanilla moose to gather some intel on it. I have been seeing alot of posts about it being used by the pros and to say the least it has tickled my fancy.
Right now the only product i have used on my car's paint since it was repainted in March 03 is SMR #9, Klasse AIO and SGx2 and the paint is really coming alive.
The paint is electron blue metallic and it has alot of flake just waiting to burst, and the SG is helping it really come alive. I have read that polymers rather than carnubas are good to use on my type of paint, so here in lies the question.
Is Vanilla moose glaze good to use with Klasse?
Klasse AIO to my understanding is a paint cleaner that has mild abrassives to remove swirls and small defects. Thus being a "polish" according to definition.
Vanilla moose posseses the same qualities as AIO, removes light oxidation and swirls etc, but it doesn't say it "fills" them in. A glaze fills in these defects etc, rather than removing them.
Which makes me wonder, would it be pointless to use AIO than VM? Or is VM truely a glaze in the traditional sense?
Sorry to keep going on, but i am very interested in this.
Now, that being said, i have already AIO's and used SG, if i was to strip everything and start from square 1, throw down AIO than VM in multiple coats than SG from there would that be sound?
1) On dark metallic paint would i yeild as better results as i am with SG ?
2) Is this logical?
Any more info would be great.
Below is a link to the gallery showing the color etc. Every pic has atleast coat of SG on it unless otherwise noted, except for the shot with the sky. Thanks for reading if you've come this far!
