Using Blackfire Metal Polishing System to create a mirror finish on aluminum

I personnaly would go with the scotch brite before steel wool. Steel wool can break off and get imbedded into the steel and rust.

The pictures of the coating coming off was unreal haha Does the blackfire sealant help prevent new scratches?

Any wax or sealant coating is pretty thin, as in sub micron thin. When you really consider how thin it is it is amazing how well they perform and the amount of engineering that goes into them.

Just like it is possible to get swirl marks on paint (even though its sealed) it will be possible to still get scratches on metal. However the sealant will increase the slip factor (slickness) of the product which in theory reduces the abrasion of particles against it. So the technical answer is yes, but I would still be careful how I wash and handle the material.

There something to think about as well. I'll probably start off with the scotch brite.

As mention before, I have a 17' Al. boat, after cleaning and polishing the entire boat I'm thinking of using SharkHid.....
Question is has any one used this product???

Do not mean to hijack.

Never heard of it but I'm also not into boating but it does sound interesting for other applications. Any links to the product?
