Top Gear and Red Necks....

Personally i think it was a load of pre arranged crap. Like that z3/pick up redneck vid that went around a year or so ago.

Keep in mind topgear is as much about satire and witt as it is about reviews.

Not that i know of but it was to me at least very poorly acted. It seemed awefully suspicious that some dude would post a vid of him essentially commiting armed robbery.

I remember that, the guy stole thier video camera right! Was that proven to be a spoof?

It had to be for sure!... I watched that video and noticed its 3 minutes from where I live... the guy in the Z3 went into a deserted area where there was no way out... that area must be looked for because it's tucked away. If he was REALLY trying to get away he would not have followed a dirt road when there is a 2 lane main road right there.

Basically a gag version of "Texas Survivor". Paint "I love men" and similar slogans on your car and see who gets the farthest across Texas. About a 4 year old joke now.

The owner of the store actually seemed concerned for them, and then when she noticed they were basically mocking her city she became offended. Of course the video doesn't really show that, but it's more likely what happened.

Sort of like when someone gets in the left lane on purpose, trying to be Mr. Cop.

the bmw vs. toyota rednecks was proven fake, the people who made it admitted it online somewhere.

top gear, i dunno. ive never seen somehting like that happen to the camera crews on top gear so it seems kind of real, anybody else notice them using shook up coke to remove the slogans?hahaha i love top gear, watched the full episode last night till like 1 30 AM

I am waiting for them to go to Middle East and paint some anti-Islam and pro-Israel slogans on their cars. I'd pay to see that video. ;)

Great video! I love TopGear...wish I got it on my cable...

I'm pretty sure it's faked, though. I mean, the last 30 seconds are filmed from outside the car...meaning it that part was most likely specially staged...and if they stage the "run to the border" is faked, then the rest may have been too.

I don't ever give much thought to real or fake when watching videos as such. I just look at it from the perspective of entertainment.

That video was definitely entertaining :2thumbs:

haha yea I'm a big Top Gear fan and I really loved that last episode.

It's sad we could never have an American Top Gear though, too many cry babies in this country... which is why they tried to do it and failed. The Brits have such witty humor, not our crude humor some people in this country find funny.

Wow funniest clip I've seen in a while.

I can totally relate to when I went on a road trip to Florida, had to pass through North Carolina, South Carolina and Georgia...LOL. (no offence to those who live there).

Oh yeah, I've also been to Alabama and they really are like that over there!

Nope, trust me mate they would only do this sort of thing with the Americans.

Amusing episode of Top Gear, altough I was really shocked to see how the damage of Katrina is still there, after more then a year.

Shame on Bush to spend silly amounts of money in the Far East, while his own citizens are bordering on the wrong side of life quality...
