after cleaning tires in really bad condition would it be benificial to wipe them down with something like denatured alchohol or laquer thinner to "prep" them for dressings, similar to Griot's Rubber Prep?
I know rubber and petrolium distilates generaly dont mix well, but if it was only done once or twice over the life of the tire would it hurt anything?
