I am with the majority on this one. Todd has been a 100% stand up guy and has always handled himself as a gentleman worthy of my highest respect. I have had many off line conversations with him, and what I have found is that he is the same person online and in person. How many people can you say that about? I would never expect him (or any other employee) to do a public side by side test with a product their company did not sell.
I did learn something very interesting. I always thought Car Pro USA, was the US distributor for Car Pro Products? Now from this post and Todd's explanation that Autopia and Carp Pro USA are competitors? Meaning Cory does not supply PBMG with all their Car Pro products. I thought Cory was set up by Avi to be the face of Car Pro in the USA to drive sales? Avi seems like a nice guy but I felt that perhaps he gave the distribution to Corey to help with the "communication" in places like this? I remember when RONKH was having issues with reload and we all were listening to the where's Corey now stuff, we need help. He used to be more helpful. And I was like Corey is a good guy....(wonder why he is not here) NOW I GET IT A LITTLE BIT. AUTOGEEK AND AUTOPIA ARE NOT HIS ACCOUNTS AND HE IS A COMPETITOR TO THEM! That's why he does not post much here or come around.
It's kind of like the calls we get at my company. Customer buys a carpet extractor (not from me) and I get a call. I just got a machine and it does not work. I called the manufacturer and your the warranty station. Can you pleases just explain how to use it and we ask for their invoice number or look upon the serial number. If we did not sell the machine, we feel a different obligation. If there is potential for more business we might help, if there is not it a total waste of our time and we tell them that since we did not sell the machine, they can buy an hour of labor and bring the machine in and we will be happy to train you. We let them know this is something we do for FREE if you purchased the unit form us. If it is a legit issue we fix and get paid by the manufacturer. If it is a bogus self inflicted damage or nothing but user error, there is a charge and its clearly in the drop off paperwork they sign.
I can now understand why Corey would not want to continually be customer service for items he did not sell. I also now understand why he is not over here posting reviews as he has in the past.
You learn something new every day over here.
