And in this case, how could you deport this coward who did this, if he was a US citizen?

Why do these things keep happening? Yes, at the forefront you have the mentally disturbed person to blame, however, the ease of getting a high powered weapon in this country is ALSO to blame. Had this person not been able to get his hands on that useless (for civilians) high powered weapon, there would have been many more people coming out of that club. I truly believe these are signs...if you look at how these senseless killings have been getting worse, it all points to one reason! That reason being those high powered guns. When will people finally get it? Those guns have no use or practical purpose in the U.S.

Fertilizer, pressure cookers, cars....those things were MADE into a weapon...AR-15 IS already a weapon. A civilian will NEVER NEED a useless weapon like that. I call it useless because it serves no purpose for a civilian.
Yes, while he could have done plenty of other things to make things worse, he simply went for the easy way. He went out bought a weapon that he could instantly use for malicious purposes and he didn`t have to get anything else other than ammo. And that`s my point, it`s too easy for these nuts to do this because of the easy access to those types of useless weapons.
this is going around in circles and neither of us will change our mind. I`ll wave the white flag
Good! She should face charges if she knew about this in advance.
Completely agree.
Honest question: Do you guys not see access to semi-automatic weapons like the AR-15 part of the overall problem?
The sad reality is that weapon in particular has been used in many recent massacres:
The above murders choose the AR-15 because because they were aware of how many shots it could get out, how lethal it was, the way it was designed, that it would serve their objective of killing as many people as possible in the shortest time possible.
- Orlando (49 dead: 53 wounded)
- Sandy Hook (26 dead; 2 wounded)
- Aurora, Colorado(12 dead; 70 wounded),
- Roseburg, Oregon (10 dead; 9 wounded),
- San Bernardino, California (14 dead; 22 wounded)
Can someone explain to me why FL doesn`t have a waiting period for buying an AR-15 but does have a 3 day waiting period for handguns? Or does that also make no sense to you? Because it makes zero sense to me. To be clear, I`m not suggesting to "ban all guns" but I am for common sense gun laws that remove semi-automatic rifles from civilian hands were they do not belong.
Completely agree.

A 20 gauge with buck shot is a way better option for home defense than aNo it`s not all weapons, my two brothers own hand guns, rifles and they themselves agree as I do, those weapons are useless for a civilian. I`m not for a gun ban at all. I think if you want to own a gun for your protection it should be your right to do so. But guns of that nature are simply useless guns IMHO! A normal person can protect their family/home with a handgun/shotgun/rifle...in all honesty, if an intruder comes into your house. It`s going to be dark in your home, you`re going to wake up half asleep, and if it comes to you shooting a gun inside your house it will be extremely loud....will you reach for your AR-15 and spray your house with bullets, or will a .45 be safer and easier to control?
