I thought this guy was going to kill me.

So I'm heading to the Auto Expo last night with a buddy and I'm in the long line of cars waiting to turn right onto the main road where the expo center is at. You know how it is when you are heading to an event that everybody else is going to as well... Anyway, this white POS Pontiac something or other suddenly pulls up next to me and people in the car are pointing and shouting at me. They were younger kids. Not punks or anything. It was a mom and her teenage boy and it looked like a couple of younger girls in the back seat. I can't hear what they are saying, but it really didn't seem like they were angry at me. You never know though... Maybe I cut them off while I was getting over into a lane or something. I just didn't know.

Well, they couldn't just sit there in the middle of the road pointing at me and they had to keep driving after a second. I was kind of wondering what they could have been trying to say. Are my tail lights out? Am I leaking fluid? Did they want to kill me?

A few seconds later I see this guy jump out of the car (they were at the light now and we were both stopped) and he runs back to my car. I didn't know if he was going to pull me out of the car and strangle me or if he was going to tell me my mufflers were dragging on the road. He runs up to my window and I roll it down and he says "Hey, what kind of car is this?" I told him it's a Subaru and he said "I knew it!" and runs back to their car. I guess it was a family bet on the make and model of the car. 'Legacy' is on my license plate frame, but from behind there isn't anything else that would make you think it was a Subaru. I thought that was kind of funny though.

Jngrbrdmn, you have one hell of a beautifal vehicle. Subaru did a great job on the new model. Where did you get that custom badging? That's cool. I know how you feel, i've had a gun pointed at me in traffic in ny and ma. So your caution was certainly understandable.

Yeah, that's why I'm paranoid. I've been car jacked before, so I'm a little nervous when people come running at me in traffic.

www.youremblem.com is where I got the badging. It always trips people up when they are trying to guess the make and model. The letters look like factory letters. I need to get a 2.5GT one made so that the font matches all the way across.

jngrbrdmn, how ya like that turbo? any engine mods or is that not your style?

I got modding cars out of my system a long time ago. I do have some tuning I want to do to this car. COBB is just down the street from me and getting some custom ECU tuning is on the schedule for later this spring. I like it to be a sleeper though, so no loud exhausts or blow off valves for me. I'm getting to the age where I need to act a little more mature or else people won't take me seriously. :lmfao

Sure would hate to be wearing the kicking shoes of that guy on the Colts!!

It did save "the Bus" some embarrassment!! I wonder how the coach of Pittsburg would have handled the interview if the Steeler's would have lost???
