It will be both good (lotsa' $$$) and bad (no sleep). One of the local TV stations (CBS affiliate) redesigned their logos, so they needed their vans buffed and waxed to remove the outlines of the old logos. They needed the two vans done by Wednesday and I am totally booked. The person I talked to asked if I could do the work at night between 10:30 PM and 12:30 AM. They would have adequate lighting for me and it would be a lot cooler. I weighed the amount I would make against the sleep I would lose and decided since May and June were so wet and I lost business, I'd go ahead and take the job. My son and I did the first van tonight (15 passenger size). Quick QEW wash by my son and once he got going, I followed with the PC and PB's PwC and once my son finished washing, he followed me with PB's EX w/carnauba. We got the first van done in about an hour and forty five minutes. No need to do the tires, fenderwells or the roofs. Just buff and wax the body. We do van number two tomorrow night and probably the 30' camera crane truck the next two nights.
Not my favorite kind of work, but it is pretty easy, cool at night and no one coming up to me while I am working and asking if I detail cars and do I do the work on site.
