Earlier this week I saw a clean compact car, didn't notice what variety, but what I did notice was the wheels.
They appeared to be OEM steel wheels with no wheel covers, but with chrome lug nuts, painted center hubs on the car itself and the black painted wheels were polished to a very high shine. The tires were also dressed to a little more shine than I like, but that's just me. Overall, a decent look for very little money.
I happen to like polished chrome or aluminum wheels, but for someone that can't afford fancy wheels, this looked like an alternative.
Is this something new that I just haven't noticed or was it a one time thing by just that individual?
