The Future of Vehicle Protection?? NeverWet Super Hyrophobic

At the very least I want this stuff for convertible tops and carpet/fabric upholstery, let alone everything else.

I wonder if they could impregnate this stuff into tire tread as a way to permanently eliminate traction issues?

I saw this on L2D a couple weeks ago...Avi made a post that was a little concerning. Not sure if it's still accurate today, but it's worth looking into.

Guys

such technology is not new.. sorry to disappoint you guys but small thing they dont tell you here is that it has NO durability to any abrasion, even light finger touch will affect alot the super hydrophobic effect..

this is the biggest problem of SHP coats.

This is my exact concern Chad.... It looks really cool but how durable is it and how long does this Super Hydrophobic properties last before deteriorating?

I can imagine Vince from Shamwow selling this in an infomercial!!

But, seriously, the uses would seem endless.

This may be one of the greatest inventions not just for detailing but for everyday things like keeping boots/shoes/house clean therefore lasting much longer and saving you money. I hope they offer this product to the general public.

Hmmmmmmm:

Barry - you think it will work as a hair gel replacement for you? Could dramatically reduce that greasy look you get after a long days worth of work @ the shop?

Maybe it can be worthwhile applying before a rainy day to save on having to wash afterwards. It sounds like a total godsend for winter conditions too. I wonder if can be applied to any type of LSP already present on a finish....

Fermani, I'd suggest aligning the print heads on your inkjet!

That's actually just distorted pixels from a low-resolution image being blown up beyond its "native" size. The printer is fine.

Not the case. The PRE on the poster is clear as can be.

Good call Ben! I actually printed the logo out real quick and wrapped it around a aerosal canister to get a picture to send to Fermani as a joke in a text message. I was trying to get him jealous. lol then he decided to put the photo on here. lmfao
