I love your talent and these details for sure. :2thumbs: :2thumbs: :bow :bow :bow
Unfortunately I like new cars and don't get impressed by older classics much.
Must come from my dad. He is an antique fanatic.
But I am very happy for you that you are able to this at this level.
How long have you been detailing professionally?
Can't wait to hear about your new advanture.....
Thanks tdekany! I'm a fan of new cars, but honestly, it was nice to have a changed. I have detailed so many new Ferraris, Lamboghinis, ect... That it was seriously nice to get for a change and challenge myself on a new level in different ways. I get bored quickly and am so hungry to improve myself that if I don't keep reaching new heights and learning along the way, I become disinterested. I guess I have OCD, but I have some new challanges in the works.
As far as long as I have I been detailing professionally, its kind of a tricky question because of how you define professionally in this profession. Many pros have 20 years experience, but its more like 3 months experience x 80!!!
But to answer how long I have been getting paid, since I was 16 and posted wash and wax flyers all over my neighborhood for 15 dollars a pop and spent long nights with my father, polishing all the chrome on his hot-rods. Obviously, my idea of detailing has changed dramatically in the last couple of years, since finding MOL and autopia. However, it changes dramatically every month as I look for new challanges.
As a sole source of income, for about 7 months. Thats when I offically formed a business and put my heart and soul into this...

welcome to calgary, you came for a warm week, we had a chinkook
And nex time you are in town, let me know... ohh and if you need a hand im free lol
I missed the chinkook, lol. It never got beyond -12 or so, for a day (I think Thursday) then back to -20 until I left. It finally warmed up on Sunday, but I was on the jet back to the USA by then. I was thinking about shooting you a PM while I was up there, but had limited access to the internet and ZERO free time accept the VH concert.

Awesome job.
No tripod on these pics?:tumblewee
NONE of them look like ANY of the pics you do in Florida...
Thanks. Yes some pictures where taking on the tripod (most of the F40 pics, for example) but most of the time, I didn't have the time to slow down and set up pictures. There was always work to do.
Also, I don't know how to photograph inside, as most, if not all of my Florida shots are outside. I'll get better though... Outside, I use manual mode. Inside, I either left it in auto with the flash off (because in manual I would have had to open the shutter speed so much that pictures would have been blury) or tried some manual settings on the tripod.
