Tapatalk just installed on TID

I've been checking the statistics on the number of you who have been using the Tapatalk app.
I must tell you, I am pleasantly surprised.

I use it a lot to browse the newest topics, but I don't post from it because I only have the free version, as of right now anyway.
 
Sorry I'm still not getting it... This thread doesn't explain the app any more than the other one did.. And the links included in this thread don't work.

I can view, post, upload, etc all from my phone now... So what exactly are we paying $2.99 for?

However, Tapatalk updated their pages and changed their links.
I have updated the link for the FAQ page in the post above.
As to why your app costs $2.99? That is due to the App Store at Apple.
Tapatalk does offer a free read-only version.
If you are able to do what you want in the forum from your iPhone using its browser, rock on.

Thanks for offering this new feature. The more I learn about it and use it the more I'm likeing it. Next thing you know I'll try twitter and the chat room. maybe there is hope yet for us old geezers. LOL:)
 
So does it let you view the forum in a more condensed way or something? After checking out the link I really still don't get it. I'm not bashing the app, I'm just trying to understand how its different than using your phone's browser...
 
Yes it does let you view each seperate thread without looking at the entire site or opening page (home page) as I call it.On a blackberry when not useing this AP you must click on each seperate page and then enlarge to read. Tapatalk does away with all of that and comes in what I call a ready to view state.
