My project for the day was this nice dark silver BMW 530i. Clayed with CG Claybar. Slight swirls were removed with Menzerna SIP, finished up with Swissvax Cleaner Fluid and topped with Swissvax Mystery.

Enjoy!

Tod didnt u buy that small tub of zymol glaze from ebay?

If so have u tried it out?

Yup, I sure did. I have it on the Lexus GS on the last pic next to the bimmer. I love the look of Vintage. And, like other Autopians have said, the look vs Swissvax Mystery/Concorso, are 2 different looks. Each has its own properties. The Vintage leaves a sort of 3d look, deep, and very wet. I also had it on my Lexus RXh, dark blue metallic, and it looks awesome. But honestly, I prefer Atlantique on the RXh over Vintage. A little more wet and deeper look. But that's just me.

Yeah, I saw that. But after using the Swissvax stuff, especially Concorso and Mystery, I don't have the temptation to click on PLACE BID :nono Don't you have Vintage too, DieselMDX?

nope one of the few LSPs I dont have and want BAD. I was going to bid on the 4oz tub but it was too much for my liking. But after using souveran I should have jumped on it 4oz would last me for ever

wow very nice work ,iused destiny ..do you think mystery is better ? genraly swissol better than zymol?

The BMW looks absolutely amazing!!

It's so bright and reflective that it almost looks fake.

That probably has to be the best looking silver car I have seen in a long time.

Great work!!

very nice! keep up the good work.

tell me more about this cleaner fluid, is it like PB's PP or Pin paintwork cleanser?

what are cleaner fluids duties?

I recently started using Swissvax after a long period of using Zymol (Atlantique, Destiny, Vintage, & Concours). I like Swissvax quite a bit. The depth is very comparable to Zymol and so is the water shedding and cleaning properties. Swissvax, IME/IMO, however has a brighter and wetter shine than Zymol.

HI Mikeyc , iused zymol for long period with destiny and concourse , do y think swissol concorse better than Z concourse ?. do feel there is big gap betwen Z destiny and SWISSOL mystery? can y apply mystey by foam pad.

i think i will oreder swissol waxes beacuse more easy to apply than zymol.

I don't like to use the word "better" when comparing any two products. However, I will say that I have found Swissvax to be much easier to work with. It buffs off with much less effort than Zymol. Also, the shine is wetter and brighter. These are the differences IME.

I stopped applying wax with my bare hands a few months ago. I discovered these foam applicators:

AutoDetailing Wax/Sealant/Dressing Foam Applicator

They seem to work well with a lot of waxes that recommend bare hand application. The traditional yellow wax applicators many use were horrible with these waxes IMO/IME.

Thanks for all the kind words.

In regards to the questions about comparisons and reference to Zymol, I think Mikeyc has summed it up quite well. I second his comments. I found that Swissvax products are very easy to work with and can be applied either way, hand or applicator. Estate glazes are very hard to work with with an applicator, especially Vintage. Its especially easier to remove as well.
