...seeing this makes me not want kids!

Don't worry Chad. They are not all that bad. It all depends on how you raise them. Even if I told my youngest son that he could have a snack in my car, he wouldn't. He knows better.

They really are a lot of fun though.:Dancing Dot:

Sorry to say Barry, they kinda are... and in my experience, girls are far worse than boys :w00t:

HAHAHA thats funny. A friend of mine has a 4 year old girl and another on the way, the 4 year old is a trip but she has her moments and they're no fun.

I dont think you have to worry about the sub-teen year kids quite as much. 18-19 year old girls are the once you should be concerned about (cough cough from a safety standpoint that is) They certainly do some wacky and ridiculously dangerous things ie: drive with one foot out the window + while texting, that is if they put their cigarettes out first. :driving:

That reminds me when I was detailing a brand new Land Rover (2 months old)
and when I got to the roof there were several large dents on it and I told the owner "Did you know theres dents all over your roof?!":scared:

He had a little smile on his face and said "oh you know new vehicle and a bunch of my friends celebrating ":partaaay: :partaaay:

i was like "HUH"???

apparently they all got on the roof and jumped up and down on it . I was floored. Here is a full grown man with children himself !

Hes also pretty wealthy so I guess new vehicles dont really mean anything to him. Oh well its his vehicle to do what he wants with it, crazy if you ask me! LOL

My 6 year old 'details' his bike when I'm out cleaning cars. He has his bucket, sponge, and will have a dedicated drying cloth so he doesn't use my good ones. I have him help me wash sometimes, he does the bug sponge and rinses.

I have 2 daughters, they are as low maintenance and nice to be around as you could ask for. Damn, must have done something right!

Like others stated, it starts with the parents.

My five year old has his own clay bars (my old ones), his own detail spray (old bottle with some soapy water and a little Last Touch), and his own microfibers (Sam's club specials). :D

At car shows, he points out all people that are leaning on cars and tells me "that's bad for the paint, right Dad?" or "That car has swirls and scratches". On Monday, him and the neighbor kid had a 'detail day' for their bikes.

My wife isn't real happy with the whole 5 year old having a "detail disorder thing" like me, but she has to live with it.

I think I will have a detail partner soon.........

Randy

That's the best thing I've read in weeks!
