PLEASE NO CANVASSERS OR TIME WASTERS. ( I had to put that in as I had 2 prank buyers for the Silver Seraph)

Admirers From Autopia are welcome to post there thoughts!

Hi Boss, I used Stephannies login instructions to join this club. Its cool aint it. Is she on commision for this?

I know we took delivery of the car when you were away. Its stunning in every sence of the word. But I think you know i cannt afford it on my pay.

Great party wasnt it last night ey?? Im sorry I could not come in today, did you recieve the message. I will make it up by working on the weekend.

Ive had such a hang over i feel like that monster out of Hell Raiser has cut up my guts and spun them around for a week. Never again will i mix budweiser and bacardi. I appreciate your brother in law dropping me off.I tell you that new Arnage of yours doesnt half shift. Steve popped it into sports mode along the dual carridgeway (opposite B&Q) good damm it. We went from 0-60 in a blink of an eye. I nearly pi**ed & cr***ed my pants in the process. I have the skid marks to prove it! That engine went from 100% quiet to a gigantic ROAR.There was i clinching the seat when Steve was deliberately stepping on the gas. Im glad he was sober. My goodness I nearly fainted. Dont change it, keep it for a year or so. Then again you change your cars more times than i have had a hot dinner. It was either all that boozing or that ride in your car which has made me unable to walk straight. Man, i cant get over the force and ease at which your Arnage T handles.

I didnt get to say bye to you and the misses, i think you both had other things on your mind.. if you know what im talking about.. You had business well at hand!

If you have or havent read this I will see you tommorow morning.

:shocked A luxery car that can do 0-60 in under 4 seconds... a convertible too... 6000 lbs though.. have to do something about that. If i write you a check for it now would you promise not to cash it until....say... 15 years from now?

I bet he could arrange that for you Dr Jones he is the Boss after all.. Mr Ross is a great guy dont get me wrong, but I wish he gave me a bonus so i could improve on my vauxhall. Its so run down, i have to push it to work. (I will probably get an ear bashing for this if Mr Ross see it).;)

its a good site this anint it? A few of the others who work with me are talking about joining. Do you get discounts off products for being a member here?

Joshua

This is a wonderfull site, especially for car enthusiasts. It's even a great site for people that aren't... though after a little bit of time here i think we'll convert you.

You too will be walking through a parking lot backwards looking at your car, or looking at the swirls in others, and you'll even maybe forget your keys, but you'll always have a bottle of QD in your car. Auto care is really addictive. I've started converting the people who know me.

Also yes we do get a discount. CMA (classic motoring accessories... www.properautocare.com) does a discount for Autopia members every once in a while. The last one ended in April, but i think they said the next one will be sometime in Augest or around then. Welcome to the board :wavey

I will put my name down for a few products. Sometime i dont think its worth doing my car though. If you compare it to Mr Ross's personal fleet its worth less than one of his alloys. (a single alloy on his Continental costs £3,600!! Then again it is a £250,000+ motor car.

What do you reccomend I do to it to make it look decent. Thats better than the state it is in now?

Josh

ohh yea, i think i remember reading that somewhere. Josh, I'm sure you can find someone who can buy it for you and ship it though.

As for your car... What color and state is it in? Is the main problem, swirls, rust, faded color or what? That makes a little bit of a difference... but i'd recomend Blackfire unless it has some major problems. I'm fairly sure that John was able to get his hands on some. He can probably tell you where he got it from, or maybe even let you try some of his out. It's super easy to use and the results are stunning. It really does a great job at restoring faded colors.

BTW for any of us 'yankies' who are looking at buying that Rolls... as of 5/8 thats $437,826.93 American Dollars.... i can't decide if i should spend my money on that... or an order of some P21S stuff...

Josh

In the UK we can buy P21S, Blitz OG & wax and Zaino can be ordered from Germany. Dont forget the Queen uses Blitz on her cars :up

Steven

Yeah i might ask him. My car though is white - its not a metallic or anything fancy. Sure, its got swirls and everything, as i dont have a garage or anything its been damaged by tree sap, bird sh*t and all sorts, its got more chips on the bonnet than i have teeth.

Mr Ross has some terrific cars though ehy?? I have to say something nice now or im dead when i walk into the showroom tommorow.Honestly he is a top bloke though.. He is one of the lads, he goes out with us to the pubs etc.. considering his personal status some people in his position forget the likes of me. I like him for that.

John you are a great boss and friend. No offense to my comments made on my pay.

:xyxthumbs

Josh

You dont need a garage to clean up your car. My car is outside 24/7 and has a lot of stonechips on the bonnet but I do my best to keep the car shinny. Swirls and tree sap can all be fixed.

Steven

I think having a car that lives outside is more fun... just means i get to spend more time keeping it looking good. Have you looked at the e-Book yet? DavidB wrote a really good book on detailing. Covers all the basics, including how to get rid of that tree sap and swirls. www.autopia-carcare.com is where you can check it out. It's HIGHLY recomended by a lot of people here.

ohh cheers...

Dr jones, yeah, I saw that books at Johns house (mansion). I will grovel up to him and ask kindly if i can borrow it.

John when you look at this please note im only winding you up, please dont take my comments seriously!

Josh

Yeah, he has that book. I will have to borrow it. I came across it yesterday evening.

What would you suggest for dent repairs?

Joshua

Im laughing at this end. Dont forget to collect your pink slip (P45) on the way out tommorow and clear out your locker and return access keys.Youre fired.

MR ROSS

Im returning the favour , im winding you up (Joke.. Joke..). Relax. I dont bite now do I ?

See you tommorow. Take Care,

JOHN:up

If you are ever intrested in the car or any othet infact, just call me. For my loyal Autopians friends I can arrange a substancial discount.

JOHN ROSS

Unless a 'Substancial' discount is around $430,000 off it will still probably be a while untill i can afford one of those :) . Though you do have some cars that aren't so high end don't you? Does your company have a website with a list of other cars your selling? I think we all know you have cars for the $100,000 + price range (one's we'd all like to own).. just curious as to what else you offer (one's we might actually be able to own).

Im afraid I currently dont employ a web site feature for the showroom purely on the basis that our custom is through dealership networks across London and surrounding areas, public and private auctions, and exports. This trade alone makes up for 96% of sales and remains very strong, the remainder is generated from the public. A website would be sutible at a time when I am facing very low sales hence neededing large scale advertising. After sales support is also a cash cow source of income and remains in league with accessories & parts.

Delears who advertise via web based sources have no limitations to their audiences. I stray away from this concept and have experienced sucess with "in-house" tradings. This is far less time consuming. Ross Bentley Motor Cars uses sources such as the national media, car magazines, and on occassions such as bank holidays regional radio stations. Autopia has become also a means of acheving this publicity. However, Autopia reaps the benefits from members gained from the UK through my one-off promotions for Autopia and through constant direct methods of PR.

As for lower priced cars the lowest in stock if i am correct is a 1995 Mercedes 260E which is priced at £4995. I only store a few off brand cars. These remain in the prestige theme of cars. As this is a marketing ploy to attract custom to the Bentley/ RR side and to add value to the chain. If I were to accept vechiles of a considerably less value this can potentially damage the established perception of the company.
