I've needed to use a quick detailer (4* UGE) "on the road" a few times recently to quickly wipe up bird poo.
Of course, on the road, and particularly in the dark, I can't be sure the hood is free of dirt or grit, so I try to just spray the QD over the bird poop and, as gently as possible, wipe up the mess in a microfiber cloth. This leaves QD overspray around the area--so the question is: is it safe to leave QD on overnight or longer?
I figure it should be safe, just won't look great until I can properly wash it. But anything's better than bird poo etching the paint, right?
What do you do?
