My brother is coming to town and I've committed to doing a complete exterior job on his black 05 Ford Explorer. Paint is in excellent condition, so we aren't concerned about swirls and such.
I plan on AIO, EXx2, then Nattys-Blue. I may use WG instead of EX...not sure yet.
My concern is that he recently, like just this past weekend, added 2 coats of wax (probably turtle wax paste, but not sure) so these will need to be removed. I told him to hold off, but nooooooo he never has listened to me. He has told me that the surface feels very waxy. Ugh!
*** What is the best way of removing this much fresh wax? Will liberal amounts of AIO and multiple applications work OK? Is there a quick and easier way to remove this wax than AIO, like Dawn? Other cleaners I have include 4* UPC and WG Pre-Wax Enhancer. I have an AutoZone and Wal-Mart near by, so I can pick up some Mother's/Meg's/? products but I don't have time to get other products shipped in.
Thanks for your help!
