I worked on a VERY LARGE 1981 Buick Park Ave. today, and I must say, pheuu! Man that was a long job. The interior didn't turn out to be picture worthy, it really needs a recarpeting job.
Exterior was a "fun" job to say the least, with horrendous swirls, and it was a chore compared to most cars I do. The roof is so dry it sucked up 3 coats of Trim restorer, so I gave up on that as well.
Processes:
Wash
Clay
Polish stainless pieces (need refinishing)
SSR 2.5 on cutting pad via rotary at 1000RPM
SSR2 on polishing pad via PC x2
Megs #82 via polishing pad
Topped with NXT
Pictures: (sorry no befores)
Thanks for looking, post some replys please. Not bad for 24 year old paint eh?
