Range Rover Sport - 2 day correction detail *long*

I think it looks great, especially for a '95 car! I wish my '92 Bimmer (black) could look that nice, but alas! it was neglected for years and years. What did you use on it?

I'm an amatuer at detailing compared to most on here although my girlfriend is kinda an expert. She loves zaino. I dont though. I used clay first, then 3m smr, then 3m ihg, then duplicolor black wax, then meguiars 100% carnuba yellow wax paste. I'm planning on doing a lot more. I want my car to look fantastic like some of the cars I have seen on this website. Compared to some of them my paint is only a 6 out of 10. I'm really picky. I want a 9 out of 10. I'm thinking I might buy myself a pc this week to help me get it really looking hot. I want my car's paint to look like carguys or some of the other experts.

Does your GF have a sister in California?

I want a girlfriend who is a car detailing expert!!!!!!! Keep her! My girlfriend didn't understand why (and how) I spent 8 hours detailing my car last Monday (instead of spending 8 hours with her!!).

...girls!

How 'bout in North Carolina?
(Hey, at least I know my girlfriend will never find this! Like she would ever go on a detailing site...)

By the way, good one about the parents thing... I laughed!

she used to take 4-6 hours detaling my cars but now I have become so uptight about my cars that I'm scared to even have her touch them. She is pretty obsessed with cars also. Nice to have a gf that shares my madness.

I meant it about the parents. Problem is once my gf gets back from France late next week she will be reading all these messages. Oh well. LOL

any 17 year old girls into automotive detailing.......99.999999998% NOT possible.

you are one lucky dude spree17.

Does she have any cousins????

If the parents are like this, they want to adopt a son???

haha, ok getting off topic, back on track now.

Nice looking car, with more practic patience and improved techniques, you'll make it sprakle like carguy's proshce. and Boy are his camera shots and cars top notch.

I think he meant..She is an ONLY child..no bros or sisters...Not only a child. I thought that he was a child molestor! :D

shes 22 and an ONLY child, wondering if there are any 17 year old females out there that like to detail cars....HIGHLY unlikely. just making a statement.

oh well, i just have to get older like you guys :) with a few exceptions of course....

Thanks carguy! One day my cars will shine like yours and I will take some great pics like you do also. By the way I posted a question to you in the other forum.

$1100 USD for that jar of wax. But hey, you get free refills for life and its comes in a very nice glass cube......I'll keep my Souveran anyway, sure I'll try the big 3 waxes from Zymol one of these days, but waxing with my hands will get boring.

Lets see $1100 in USD could get you a 33 oz botlle of AIO, and SG ($60). The entire Zaino line ($181 and change with shipping). A PC polisher with pads ($175), a rotary polisher with pads($300 or so.) Pinnacle Souveran, Paste Glaz, and OG Blitz ($127.) Foam applicator pads X 50 from TOL ($25), lots of MF's and terry cloths ($150), $10 for Meguiars GC wash (a gallon), $10 for a QD, $10 for mitts, and $2 for buckets, $10 for window cleaner. ok I'm around $1060 right now. $15 for DavidB's e-book So that $25 can get you food and beer!!!

Just thinking outloud....

Jason
