Raining while waxing

Hello,

I was just buffing off the wax off my car when it started to rain really hard. While it was under a covered area, the rear bumper, and some other areas got quite wet. I simply went over these wet areas with my microfiber cloth and buffed them wet. I used the wet MF towel to remove wax from rest of the car while it was continuing to rain. I'm a little paranoid these days about detailing so I'm wondering if this practice might be unsafe in terms of damaging the paint. I'm fairly sure it's all good but I can't really tell TBH.

The car was clean but just had water from the rain on it while the wax was still there, waiting to be removed.

On a side note: It seems to rain almost every time after I wax the car. But it's probably a coincidence (is anything really a coincidence?).

Thank you!

Damaging to the paint? Probably not as long as micro wasn't "loaded". So relax and don't over think it.

Ronkh, sorry no pics at this time but I sprayed a lot of quick detailer (Fk425) and went over the car with it. First time using FK425 - seems like a good product. When you say "loaded" I'm not sure what you mean.

Not much sun out yet but so far things look alright.

Thanks.

Durability was probably compromised. Re-do the areas you are concerned about. I cannot imagine any harm has taken place.

I ALWAYS review the weather forecast prior to any car projects. I'm looking for nice, lo-humidity days...

Eh, I'd just keep and eye on it and hope for the best. I haven't had water mess up freshly-applied FK1000P in the "!water will destroy a freshly applied sealant!"-type way yet.
