Thanks for posting those links on Aquapel!

I usually only have to apply twice a year.. I will say unless it's pouring though, my wipers usually streak a little...but most times, since the rain's falling off I hardly need to use wipers anyways....
However, I might have to try some PPG aquapel just to say I did.
paul34 said:Agreed! I am one of the few, I guess - but I am satisfied with Rain-X.
I am sure there are better products out there, but I find Rain-X lasts just a fine while (and I live in Florida so I think that is saying something!).
It's all in the application process, though. After I modified the process to my own (don't follow the instructions on the bottle), I no longer had problems with it.
Basically, make sure your windshield (and all other pieces of glass, including mirrors) is VERY clean, clayed, everything. Then dry it, and spray Rain-X onto something like a microfiber applicator.

BlueLibby04 said:What is in NXT glass cleaner that causes it to bead so well scott? Ive never used NXT but I do use Megs D-line glass cleaner. Does it give the same results? I wont be needing glass cleaner for along time since I have 3 gallons of D-line. :xyxthumbs
