OK, I give. How is Spray and Wipe different from a QD? Is is a "super" QD?
How do you use it?
Tom
No, it really isn't a QD at all.
It's truly a waterless wash product.
You spray it on the dirty vehicle, let it set long enough to saturate the dirt, then wipe it dry with a good MF towel.
It's a relatively thin liquid that doesn't dry real fast so it does a good job of loosening up the dirt on the vehicle.
The key is using enough to saturate the dirt, using a good MF towel and wipe the surface. It's Spray &
Wipe, not rub.
I spray some on the vehicle, then spray some on the MF towel for the first wipe. I make one wipe with one section of a towel folded in 1/4's, then flip it over to a clean section for a final wipe of each section.
I use about 3 to 4 oz. of product and anywhere from 3 to 6 MF towels for either the GP or the Montana, not including the wheels. I use the same procedure on the wheels except I use some of my old cotton terry towels instead of my MF towels.
Five years ago if you had given me a waterless wash to use, I would have just passed it on to someone else. Spray & Wipe has since become the most consistently used product I have on hand. I can't imagine getting through an Iowa winter without it.
