Great recovery on a great car!!

You said that you had used PFW pads before...did you prefer the surbuf pads over the PFW? If so....then why? I really like the PFW pads but am always open to a better product!!

I have used the PFW w/ a rotary, but not a PC. The way they are made is totally different. So I would not expect the same results with them at all. I'll try to give the PFW a go next time w/ the PC.

Nice job, Bryan and Bret! Imagine polishing hard clear like that every day... like me :). I think I've polished a total of 3 non-ceramic finishes this summer... builds character!

Thanks Apollo! Something must be wrong with me as I prefer harder clears.

Nice work guys! I worked on a '08 CRM this year myself...beautiful color when done right.

And yes, there is something wrong with you since you prefer hard clears! :)

Amazing work as always Bryan.. Sure is a shame that people have to go to a hack in order to realize that you get what you pay for

Thanks Jason! I guess we can say "Lesson Learned." :woot:

My wife says I have all kinds of problems.

Wow all this with a PCXP? I'm sure glad I picked that up... now I have to pick up some of those Surbuf pads, haha.

I don't recall seeing it Bryan but did you use the KBM or just good old fashioned PC polishing? :)

Denzil, Bret actually used his 7424 on the right side and had no problems. I didn't know there was any other way to use a PC. :2thumbs:

That car looks like its on fire. Way to go B! I'm definately going to try out some SurBuf pads. Thanks for the write up?

Thanks David! I wonder if the owner had thoughts of setting the car on fire after it was hacked up. :2thumbs:

WOW!!! good turn around. Im sure the owner will return and refer you to his friends from now on. As of the pads, man! I think I'm going to give those surbuf pads a try. I was just readying the review from Kevin and I think I'm convinced.

Once again GREAT JOB!!!

I wonder how the surbuf pads will work with sip instead of m105...and awesome save on that vette.

Since SIP is a diminishing abrasive polish and M105 is a non diminishing abrasive, I'm not sure you would get the same results. Please let us know if you give it a try. :up
