I just received all three of the pro pads: wool, orange and blue. The orange and blue pads seem significantly different than their non-pro counterparts. Specifically the lack of the stiff black foam backing like the UNOPAD and POXYPAD and that the orange pad is unusually stiff. I don't think even my LC flat orange pad is this stiff.
In the product's description on the site it only mentions use with a rotary, but here on the forums, I was lead to believe it will work with the FLEX. In the Youtube how-to video, I can see that the UNOPAD is fairly soft; I can see it compress with little pressure. I bought these pads to use with my FLEX DA. I tried out the orange today with UNO on some glass that had light waterspots. I found that the UNO cut extremely well, but working the pad was difficult due to its stiffness. Will I have problems with this combo when I work on paint?
Any help would be appreciated.
